FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

ALL proceeds go to the Festiniog Railway Society.


1. How to Bid at Auction: 

Send an email to auction@frsbookauction.co.uk stating the item number and your maximum bid.
The system will bid you up from the current price in £1 increments to your maximum bid price.
This will show on the list as it is updated

2. How to Buy from Fixed Price:

Send an email to sales@frsbookauction.co.uk stating item number(s) and an invoice for available items will be sent with further instructions.

3. How to pay:

Cheque, Bank Transfer, Cash on Collect. Credit and debit cards through Paypal

4. Postage:

Charged at cost. Royal Mail or Courier whichever is most cost effective. Overseas by air or surface to instruction.

5. Can I collect?

Yes. The books are in the Porthmadog area and be collected. Other arrangements as required.

6. Where does the money go?

All monies raised are paid into the general fund of the Festiniog Railway Society  and are used to support the Festiniog Railway. The Society is a registered charity no: 1064178.

7. How do I donate books etc.?


Books can be accepted in Porthmadog. Email  help@frsbookauction.co.uk  for further advice.

8What kind of books/ephemera can i donate?

Any hardback or softback book of railway or related interest.  Certain magazines and journals. Railway related ephemera. Railway models. Email  help@frsbookauction.co.uk for advice
